Depriving the first position from his team meat Paul Valthaty, Kings XI Punjab’s Shaun Marsh has became the leading run-scorer of the ongoing Indian Primer League (IPL) with 491 runs.
Paul Valthaty has been moved to second position with 436 runs while Chris Gayle of Royal Challengers Bangalore is present at third position with 434 runs on the most run scoring table of IPL 4.
Although Marsh failed to play a big innings in the early three games but he recovered well soon and consistency in his performance has been seen in the afterward games, during which he played the remarkable innings of 71 runs against Rajasthan Royals, 95 & 46 against Delhi Daredevils, 61 & 43 against Mumbai Indians, 42 against Kolkata Knight Riders and drizzling unbeaten 79 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last match.
28-year-old dashing left-hander Australian opener has four fifties in the ongoing IPL. He has struck 49 boundaries and 20 sixes so far. In 12 innings of 13 matches, he remained unbeaten once while his average is 44.64.
In the other most run scoring batsmen of IPL 4, the former skipper of Delhi Daredevils Virender Sehwag is holding the fourth position with 424 runs while Royal Challengers Bangalore’s stand-in captain Virat Kohli is present at the fifth position after scoring 413 runs.
