The flamboyant batsman of Royal Challengers Bangalore Chris Gayle has completed his 600 runs in the ongoing Indian Primer League. He transited this milestone by playing the superb innings of 89 off 47 balls against Mumbai Indians in the 2nd Qualifier game of IPL 4 on Friday.
30-year-old veteran Caribbean batsman is the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 608 runs in the 11 innings with the average of 55.27. He has been regarded as the man who picked RCB from bottom to top.
Gayle, who joined Vettori’s RCB in the middle of tournament and missed the five earlier games, opened his journey by scoring 102 runs off just 55 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Batting aggressively, the aggrieve played the stormy innings of unbeaten 107 off 49 against Kings XI Punjab and became the first player to score two hundreds in an IPL season
His appetite of score was not still ended and he smashed 44 off just 16 balls adjacent to Kochi Tuskers.
He shines once again and scripted another victory to his side by playing the innings of 70 against Rajasthan Royals and remained unbeaten. He took the help of 44 balls for this score.
Gayle’s annihilation remains continue and he routed the bowling of Kolkata Knight Riders once again in the last match, accumulating 38 runs off 12 balls.
