The Intrigue to deprive Pakistan from International Cricket Council presidency has been prepared. Besides India, other countries are also ready to abandon the rotation policy for the selection of President. The issue had been under discussion in the session of governance committee in Chanti last week. In the annual general meeting of ICC, scheduled to be held at the end of the on-going year, the decision is expected. According to the existing policy, Pakistan and Bangladesh have to nominate a mutual candidate in 2013 who will take over the office of President in year 2015.
According to details, for few years measures have been made to leave Pakistan alone in the international cricket. On the consent of India, the traditional rival of Pakistan, intrigue has been made against Pakistan in the international cricket. Its purpose is to keep Pakistan deprived of the presidency of ICC. The tenure of current President of ICC, Sharad Pawar, will be ended in 2013 after whom, present vice President, Alen Isaac; from New Zealand will become the president.
In the same way, Pakistan and Bangladesh will have to nominate its candidate in 2013 for Vice Presidency and after two years he will become the President. ICC founded the office of President in 1996. The member of every full member country becomes the president on rotational basis.
Firstly Indian Jagmohan Dalmiya, then Australian Malcolm Gray, and then Pakistan Ahsan Mani, and South African Percy Sonn had become the president. In 2007 the office of Vice President was introduced. Rotation policy continued but this time countries had to nominate the candidate in pairs and pairs of England-West Indies, India-Sri Lanka, Australia-New Zealand, Pakistan-Bangladesh, and South Africa-Zimbabwe were made. Now alterations are expected in the policy so that India can select President of its own will.
