The sparkling half centuries of Jamal Anwar and Sohail Tanveer led Rawalpindi Rams to the final of Faisal Bank Super 8 T20 Tournament after the grabbed astonishing 43 runs victory over Lahore Lions in the first semi-final, at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Thursday. Managing a substantial target of 187, Rams restricted Lions to 139-9 at the end of overs.

According to details, Rawalpindi Rams skipper Sohail Tanveer won the toss and elected to bat first.

The mutual run-sharing between Anwar-Tanveer association was 111.

Rams posted 189-4 at the end of specified overs, Tanveer guided fives boundaries and three sixes during his unbeaten 60.

To defend an impregnable total,. Sohail Tanveer gave the fortune to Rams in the first over by possessing Nasir Jamshed with the assistance of Hammad Azam.
