James Hopes to return to Aus; McKay to fly in

James Hopes to return back to AustraliaAll-rounder James Hopes will return back to Australia as his hamstring hasn’t responded that well to treatment. Hopes was injured during the 1st ODI at Vadodara after bowling a couple of overs. He subsequently missed the next two ODIs at Nagpur and Delhi respectively and now the team management has decided to send him back home just like they did to Wicket Keeper Tim Paine and Fast bowler Brett Lee.

The replacement for James Hopes is going to be another all-rounder Clint McKay who plays for Victoria. McKay featured in the Champions League T20 and because of that has good experience of the Indian conditions unlike someone like Graham Manou who struggled to cope up during the Delhi ODI. However it doesn’t look as if McKay is going to take part in any of the matches as the all-rounder spot seems to have gone to Moises Henriques, who was actually the star for the New South Wales in the same Champions League T20 tournament.
