IPL 2010 was very controversial regarding the Match Fixing allegations. During the IPL it was blamed by many people that there is match fixing involve in the IPL match. Before that tax matters make it very unhealthy. Lalat Modi former chairman of IPL was under target and was pressurize for making a resignation. He denied all the allegations.
During his speech on the final match ceremony of IPL he said all was fair in IPL and he thanked people to make it successful. He said that he has all the records of money distributed to franchises.
Many players were under allegations of making match fixing. Raghistan Royal Captain Shane Warn said that all the allegation of match fixing in IPL is wrong. He said if any Australian played found involve in such kind of illegal activities then he should be banned. There are some reports that 27 players were found involve in match fixing by Indian tax officers.
Warn said he doesn’t know why his name is dragged into this matter as he didn’t involve in any match fixing. He also said that he didn’t hear any thing regarding match fixing from teammates. He assured that he and his team mates were not involved in match fixing and they never thought about it.
