The match between Australia and Bangladesh was held yesterday. The match was not only important for both the teams but it was also important for Pakistan’s team. Any of these two teams could be eliminated after the result of the match. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Start for Australia was not good and top order could not perform well. In the start of inning Australia looked in trouble but in later half inning MEK Hussey played an inning of 47 runs on 29 balls. He hit four 4’s and 1 six. His inning gave Australia a respected total and they were able to score 141 for loss of 7 wickets in 20 over.
In reply of total of 141 Bangladesh got the target to chases the score in 19 over, if the wants to illuminate Pakistan. They could also illuminate Australia if they chase total in 14.3 over. The start of their inning was also not good and first three batsmen scored only 1 run. Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim gave some stability to Bangladeshi inning. They could not make it up to end and after they got out tail collapse again and they were all out on 114 runs. After their loss they were out of World Cup and Pakistan and Australia qualify for super eight round.
