BRIDGETOWN, Barbados: England captain Paul Collingwood won the toss and chose to bowl first against defending champion Pakistan in their World Twenty20 Super Eights match at Kensington Oval on Thursday.
England stayed faithful to the 11 who lost to West Indies and beat Ireland in the preliminary round in Guyana.
The four players omitted from its squad of 15 were again James Anderson, Ravi Bopara, James Tredwell and Ajmal Shahzad.
Pakistan brought in Mohammad Asif to replace fellow pacer Mohammad Sami, while Hammad Azam, Abdur Rehman and Khalid Latif also miss out again.
