With the change and modernization in cricket it is also decided by ICC to change the Day Test matches to Day/Night Test matches. According to sources fans will soon see Day/Night Test matches in Australia or India soon.
David Morgan, the president of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is willing to introduce a change in format of test cricket. The concept of flood lights is new to test matches and it is interesting to see what will be its result. Morgan further said that he has talked with Australian officials about the matter and he is very hopeful to see day/night test match soon.
The term of David Morgan’s chairmanship is ending soon and he said that that the stoppage of cricket in Pakistan due to attacks on Sri Lankan team was a big regret of his term. He said that that T-20 world cup was well organized and he is happy that England has won the world cup.
Last test match on neutral venue was played between Australia and South Africa in 1912 and now Tests between Pakistan and Australia in England in July will be the 1st after that. He also said that to control match fixing cricket boards and ICC should remain in touch as ICC has issued a statement that ICC is monitoring the match fixing scandals.
