Second T-20 match was played between South Africa and West Indies in Antigua. West Indies again won the toss and elected to field first. South Africa batting didn’t perform well and they could manage to score only 120 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their twenty over.
DA Miller and J Botha played a good inning and gave some respect to South Africa total. JE Taylor bowled very well for West Indies and he took three wickets in four over and only gave away 14 runs. DJG Sammy gave 16 runs in four over and took 2 wickets.
The start of the West Indies inning was very bad as captain CH Gayle got out on second ball of the inning without troubling the scorers. He was lbw by DW Steyn. DJ Bravo and S Chanderpaul played well and increased West Indies chances of winning. There was 68 runs partnership between them.
After they got out other batsmen started to face trouble in scoring and the match entered in the last over. West Indies needed 15 runs in the final over. First three balls cost South Africa 10 runs and left with 5 to get on 3 balls for West Indies. On the last ball West Indies needed 3 runs to win but they only managed to score one run and South Africa won by one run.
