Selectors doubts Shoaib Fitness test

Selectors doubts Shoaib Fitness testYesterday Shoaib Akhtar and Shoaib Malik came to National academy for the fitness test. They refuse to give fitness test in front of media. There is some information from our sources that Shoaib Malik has failed to pass fitness test.

Selector Mohsin Khan said that the decision will be take after the reports from the doctors. At the National Cricket Academy Lahore Sohail Slaim, Doctor from Pakistan Cricket Board, Azhar Khan, Chief Selector Mohsin Khan and Physiotherapist David Dwyer monitored the fitness test.

Shoaib Malik batted more then two hours and also bowled fifteen over. Shoaib Akhtar gave only Bowling test. In five over spell, he bowled four over well and looked in full rhythm but in fifth over he was exhausted. Today PCB will announce players name for Asia Cup and England Tour.

Shoaib Malik passed fitness test and now his selection will depend upon the support of Captain Shahid Afridi. Sources said that Shoaib is not getting support of captain and captain will only welcome him if he changes his approach and play like true sportsman.

On the other hand Akhtar has Afridi’s support as Shahid Afridi declared him match winning bowler and will intending to use him in ODI’s and T-20’s. M Irfan a young fast bowler is expected to be included in Pakistan team.
