In the Asia Cup final between India and Sri Lanka toss won by India and the elected to bat first. Indian inning was full of starts but no batsmen could able to score more individual runs. They started inning in good ways but no batsmen could score big runs.

KD Karthik was they only who scored half century and got out on 66 runs. KD Karthik made 41 while captain made 38 runs. India managed to score 268 runs in their 50 over for the loss of 6 wickets. SL Malinga and SHT Kandamby took 2 wickets while KMDN Kulasekara took only 1 wicket. Last match hero MF Maharoof didn’t get a wicket.

Sri Lankan Inning started with loss of wickets and they lost too many early wickets which took them out of contest. At one time they were 51 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. CK Kapugedera played good inning in the middle and score 55 runs. SHT Kandamby made 31 runs. Sri Lanka didn’t resist much and they all out after making 187 runs in their 44.4 over.

In the last contest between these two Sri Lanka out classed its opponent but this time it’s the turn of Indian team to out class their opponent. India becomes 2010 Asian Champion after winning the final by 81 runs. Sri Lanka lost the chance of becoming champion on their home ground.
