On Sunday 27th June 27, 2010 3rd match was played between Australia and England. Current T-20 champions out classed Australian team after winning first two matches. England came to play the match with first two matches wins. Two more ODI’s to be played between these two sides one on 30th June and other on 3rd July.

England won the toss and decided to field first. In the start the decision looked not good for England as Australian openers provide 75 runs opening foundation. SR Watson made 61 while TD Paine made 44 runs. After they got out no other batsmen was able to make good score.

GP Swann took 4 wickets and JM Anderson took 3 wickets. The high class bowling of England bowled out Australian batsmen on 212 in 47 over.

The start of England chase was not good as C Kieswetter got out on zero. KP Pietersen also got out after making 25 runs. AJ Strauss stayed on wickets and established two partnerships with PD Collingwood and EJG Morgan and strengthens the England’s chances of winning.

AJ Strauss got out after making 87 runs. MH Yardy, MH Yardy, GP Swann and SCJ Broad got out in quick time and it builds some pressure on England. In the end England managed to chase the total of 212 and took lead in 5 match series with 3-0.
