In the 4th ODI England won the toss and they have elected to bowl first. England got early break through when they take first Australian wicket. TD Paine got out after making 8 runs. SR Watson made 41 runs and he got out. He hit five fours and a six.

RT Ponting and MJ Clarke made a partnership of 154 runs and took Australian total to a reasonable position. MJ Clarke made 99 runs and remains not out. He hit seven fours in his inning. Captain R Ponting was looking good in the match and he made 92 runs with 10 fours.

SPD Smith hit four 4’s in the end and took Australian total to 290 runs. Australia lost 5 wickets and made compatible score against England. England will open the chase against Australia after the Lunch break and they will try to win this match also.
