Bangladesh batted first in first ODI against England at Nottingham after winning the toss. Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes provide 40 runs opening partnership. Imrul Kayes got out after making 14 and Tamim was lbw at 28 by S Broad.
Junaid Siddique and Raqibul Hasan batted superbly and both scored half centuries. Raqibul Hasan made 76 in 95 balls with seven boundaries. Junaid Siddique got out when he was on 51. He hit five boundaries. Shakib Al Hasan scored 20 with 2 sixes. Mushfiqur Rahim took 18 balls to reach 22.
Few good innings make Bangladesh to score 250 runs in their 50 over. Bangladesh lost its 9 wickets. JM Anderson who opened inning for England was the most successful bowler as he took 3 wickets. TT Bresnan and SCJ Broad took 2 wickets each.
The match is still on as England is chasing the score. England team consisted of AJ Strauss, C Kieswetter, IR Bell, PD Collingwood, EJG Morgan, MH Yardy, LJ Wright, TT Bresnan, JC Tredwell, SCJ Broad and JM Anderson.
AJ Strauss opened England’s inning aggressively and he made 50 in 37 balls before he was run out. C Kieswetter is not out at 29 and IR Bell is on 3 not out. In 13.2 over England are 86 for the loss of 1 wicket.
