In the 2nd test match the wicket proved to be a paradise for the batsmen as there are three centuries scored by Sri Lankan Batsmen and one of then was double century by KC Sangakkara. The top partnership was 193 runs between KC Sangakkara and DPMD Jayawardene. Second heights were between DPMD Jayawardene and TT Samaraweera of 176 runs. Third highest was between NT Paranavitana and KC Sangakkara of 174 runs.
The bowlers really worked hard to take wickets but the result was not in their favor and in two days of play only four wickets down the pitch has nothing for the bowlers it is helpless for the faster bowlers. Yesterday there was some movement for the spinners.
