Sri Lanka Is In Commanding Position Against IndiaIn the 2nd test match the wicket proved to be a paradise for the batsmen as there are three centuries scored by Sri Lankan Batsmen and one of then was double century by KC Sangakkara. The top partnership was 193 runs between KC Sangakkara and DPMD Jayawardene. Second heights were between DPMD Jayawardene and TT Samaraweera of 176 runs. Third highest was between NT Paranavitana and KC Sangakkara of 174 runs.

The bowlers really worked hard to take wickets but the result was not in their favor and in two days of play only four wickets down the pitch has nothing for the bowlers it is helpless for the faster bowlers. Yesterday there was some movement for the spinners.

NT Paranavitana, KC Sangakkara and DPMD Jayawardene are Sri Lankan batsmen who scored centuries. After scoring 642 runs Sri Lanaka declared their inning and Indian batsmen came to the wicket. The wicket didn’t trouble then either and they batted easily. At the end of the day India was 95 for the loss of no wicket. V Sehwag was on 64 while M Vijay was batting on 22. For India batting still to come includes R Dravid, SR Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, SK Raina, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, A Mithun, I Sharma and PP Ojha.
