Fifth ODI between India and Sri Lanka Will be played today at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Sri Lanka the host team is facing must win position. In the first round New Zealand beat India by margin of 200 runs and India beat Sri Lanka and attain bonus point. Fourth ODI between New Zealand and Sri Lanka was drawn due to rain. Both teams got 1 point each.

Now situation is little difficult for Sri Lanka if they wanted to stay in the game. Sri Lanka had faced same situation back in 2003 at a topsy-turvy tri-series in Dambulla. At that time rain cost Sri Lanka early exit from the tournament.

The match was schedule on 19th August but due to rain it was decided that Sri Lanka and New Zealand will battle on 20th August but again rain destroy the scene. In the last encounter between Sri Lanka and India Suraj Randiv no-ball controversy was came to scene. He bowled no ball to stop Sehwag from reaching his century. Later on Sri Lankan cricket and Randive apologized from Sehwag and make him sure that it was mistake not intestinally. Dhoni the captain of India said that what ever had happen was past no they are looking forward and focusing on future games.
