Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first in the fourth and final test match at Lords crickets ground. The decision was looked good for Pakistan on the second day of the match when M Amir took six quick wickets for Pakistan. England lost their seven wickets on 102 runs. IJL Trott and SCJ Broad came and batted for long 332 runs partnership for England. Both scored centuries.
IJL Trott scored 184 runs while SCJ Broad scored 169 runs. Pakistan could not able to end that partnership despite of efforts from all its bowlers. England managed to give Pakistan a total of 446 runs in the first inning. Pakistan team batted little well in the third inning gone back to their fist two test matches situation and lost wickets early in the inning.
Pakistan team all out for just 74 runs again. 3 batsmen scored in double figure. Salman Butt remained top scorer with 26 runs. Azhar Ali scored 10 runs and Kamaran Akmal scored 13 runs. It was again poor display from Pakistan side. They were enforced follow on by England team and when they started second inning they again lost 4 wickets for just 41 runs. The fourth day of fourth match could be decisive and decision in favor of England is expected.
