Pakistan Register a Win Against SomersetPakistan has defeated Somerset team in the warm up matches before the start of T-20 and ODI series. Somerset won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan team came in the field with spot fixing scandal in their mind but opener Shahzaib Hasan scored a century after his partner got out on zero. Azhar Ali scored 26 runs while young Fawad Alam scored 97 runs. He was near to complete his century when he was bowled by Turner.

Pakistan team managed to give them target of 265 runs after all out in 47.3 over. Somerset replies hard with NRD Compton half century and Z de Bruyn century but they were not able to chase Pakistan total. This was very close contest but Pakistan managed to win the match in the last over.

Umar Gul took three wickets while Captain Shahid Afridi took 2 wickets. Somerset was requiring 16 runs in the last over with three wickets left but they could not managed to get it. Saeed Ajmal bowled last over and took two wickets on the first two  ball. Zander de Bruyn fought till last but his efforts could not bring success for the team.
