Eden Garden has refused to host test match of NZ. There are some construction works going on in the stadium and that work has to be completed before December’s inspection of ICC delegation. Test match will continue from November 12th to 16th. Hyderabad has offered to host the test match against NZ.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal is waiting for test match since getting test status in June this year. Kanpur was the venue for second test match but there was work going on student stands. Hyderabad is willing to take advantage of opportunity and host test match in their stadium. ODI between India and NZ is scheduled in Hyderabad on 4th December but Hyderabad cricket association said that they are will to host the test match and they also showed their availability for the test match.

Ahmadabad will host first test match while Nagpur will host third test match. Now there is problem to find the host of 2nd test match. Two stadiums had showed unavailability due to construction work on the venue. Now Ahmadabad is trying to get the status of host of test match. If no other suitable venue found for 2nd test match then it is possible that Hyderabad will get hosting of test match.
