According to local Sports Channel website of Pakistan young fast bowler of Pakistan Mohammad Aamir blamed that he was involved in spot fixing scandal due to Captain Salman Butt. During his meeting with Captain Shahid Afridi and Yawer Saeed on Saturday he said that he is inno0cent and didn’t know Mazher Majeed. He added that he was introduced to him by Test Team Captain Salman Butt.

According to website Aamir also said that he was unaware of the severity of situation and he just followed the instruction of captain. After the third test match police arrested the fixer Mazher Majeed who was later released by police. He was charged with blame of accepting bribes on behalf of Pakistan players.

There are also reports in world’s media that may be Aamir got sympathy of his 18 year age as he could be influenced by others. Some former cricketers also urged ICC to show some leniency to young fast bowler and save his career. He is very young to the game and he should be given another chance to make good his mistake if he found guilty of match fixing. Pakistan is schedule to play series against South Africa in Dubai and they have to battle hard and should forget England’s tour.
