Former Pakistan cricketer Zaheer Khan said that in the current situation of Pakistan cricket team the best choice for test team captaincy is Younis Khan. He added that Younis got the courage to handle the difficult situation and in the current scenario he is the best choice for the captaincy for Pakistan team.

Previously after the ban on Younis khan, Shahid Afridi became the test captain but he retired after 1 match. After his retirement Salman Butt become the test captain for Pakistan. Butt was suspended after the allegations of spot fixing. According to information Zaheer Abass and many other former cricketers are backing Younis Khan for test captaincy.

Salman Butt who has been suspended by ICC and still his suspension is not over so there is uncertainty about the captaincy matter for the test team. Younis Khan is the 2nd captain who brings World Cup to Pakistan. He was the captain of Pakistan in 2009 T-20 world Cup. Zaheer stressed that the board should resolve the issue as quickly as he can. Zaheer Abass said world cup is near so it is necessary that Pakistan gather experience and it is only possible when the pending issues of the players resolve soon.
