In the meeting held at Head Quarter of ICC at Dubai it was declared that Pakistan team is clear from any match fixing in the third ODI at The  Oval. ICC announced that there is no evidence found against Pakistan team that they were involved in any kind of match fixing. ICC started investigations after Pakistan won the third ODI against England. It was little strange that winning team was under allegations of match fixing.

Pakistan was alleged for scoring runs on pre-decided run rate during the certain over of the inning. Pakistan’s Captain Shahid Afridi declared it Rubbish and said that Pakistan team is free from fixing. He declared that Pakistan won the match due to its brilliant bowling.

PCB chairman Ijaz Butt reacted strongly after the ICC investigations as it was started without informing PCB. He said that Bookies are talking that England players took bribe to loss the match. The statement issued by Mr. Butt was responded back with demand of apology from ECB. Butt initially refused to apologies but later during his tour, he apologies from ECB. After the investigations it is now declared that there was nothing wrong in the match and it was just allegations on Pakistan team. Captain Shahid Afridi and Coach Waqar Younis declared it good news for Pakistan.
