Rain favors Indian team and helped them in winning the ODI series against Australia. Australia has lost Test match series against India due after interesting contests. The start of 3 matches ODI series was not good as 1st ODI was canceled after rain. In the 2nd ODI India beat Australia in a close contest. The third and final match was very important for both teams as India wants win to win the series and Australia wants win to level the series.

It was on the cards that match can be canceled especially after so much rain experienced in past couple of days. Today it happened same as it was expected and match between India and Australia was declared cancelled after rain. There was no toss even as the conditions were so bad that it could not afford any play.

Indian team is very happy after a win. Now Indian team is preparing for the series against New Zealand. Australia is now going back to their country and they will face Sri Lanka there. Sri Lankans are also looking for the end of winning drought against Australia. Sri Lanka performed well and gets win in the first warm up match. Australian confidence level shaken up after this defeat and now against Sri Lanka they will try to regain their glory.
