Australia win the toss in the only T-20 match against Sri Lanka and decided to bat first and sets 134 runs target. Sri Lanka open their bowling well and restricted Australian batsmen below 5 runs per over. They also managed to get 5 top wickets below 50 runs. Good bowling attack was also accompanied by good fielding from Sri Lankans.

Fernando took brilliant catch of MJ Clarke to dismiss him. Australian captain was caught on a good bowl. Australia was 43/4 in first 10 over. They lost another wicket on the start of next 10 over. BJ Haddin and SPD Smith played good innings and stabilized Australian inning. They also helped in raising the run rate of their team. In the 2nd half of the game host team scored 90 runs and loses 4 wickets. It will not be wrong if we say that 2nd half belong to Australians.

S Randiv bowled decent spell of 4 over and gave away 25 runs and got 3 wickets. Perera was also economical with 22 runs in his 4 over against 2 wickets. Muralitharan remained wicket less. Catches and ground fielding for Aussies were very good and they saved runs in fielding. The only thing missing was direct hits.
