Pakistan Cricket Board needs ICC clearance for the final world cup squad. According to report issued by the top sports news channel in Pakistan, PCB will have to get ICC clearance for the final 30 players squad for the world cup.

It is reported that PCB will provide 40 to 45 players list to ICC and ICC will examine the names and after conducting investigations they will provide PCB with final 30 names and PCB will present those names to ICC as final 30 players for world cup.

This is very serious matter for Pakistan cricket as ICC is getting fully involved in al matters of Pakistan Cricket Board. After Pakistani players found involved in fixing scandal, ICC has tighten policies of PCB. The ultimatum of cancellation of membership with ICC was also given to PCB.

After the ultimatum PCB got active and also does important measures to control corruption in cricket. It is also said that Kamaran Akmal was not selected in team after ICC instructions. It is also doubted that he will also not a part of world cup squad. But all these news could not be confirmed till the 30 men names announced by ICC.
