Another injury reported in Pakistan side. Pakistan fast bowling attack left with only 1 fast bowler Umer Gul after the injury of Wahab Riaz. He is suffering from muscle strain and will not able to bowl in the current test match.

Intikhab Alam, the Pakistan team manager confirmed the injury of fast bowler and said that Wahab Riaz is suffering from side strain so it is suggested to have five weeks rest before he will continue his bowling. He added that he will return to Pakistan after the conclusion of first test match. He said that fast bowler will bat in the test match with a runner but will not able to bowl in the test match.

Mohammad Sami and Sohail Tanvir will get their chance in the 2nd test match. This will be a golden opportunity for them to prove themselves after a long time. Wahab Riaz made his debut in the test match against England and took five wickets in his first inning. He also performed well in the ODI series against South Africa.

Pakistan lost the ODI series against South Africa but in the first inning of the first test match they fight back strongly. One fast bowler and two spin bowling attack created difficulties for South Africa.
