Sri Lanka got follow-on against West Indies in the first test match. In reply of 580 runs scored by West Indies in the first inning Sri Lankan scored 378 runs before they got out. They needed to score 381 runs to avid follow-on but they scored only 378 runs. West Indies enforced follow-on and Sri Lankan Openers again came to bat.
NT Paranavitana and TM Dilshan opened the inning sensibly and scored 89 runs without losing any wicket. TM Dilshan and NT Paranavitana were not out on 44 runs each. Solid start from Sri Lnakan side takes them to 89 runs and they are trailing by 113 runs. KC Sangakkara remained top scorer for Sri Lankan side with 73 runs.
West Indies bowlers bowled well in the first inning and KAJ Roach took 3 wickets. S Shillingford took 4 wickets from West Indies side. He was also got out on No Ball when he was on 287 runs. Umpire review and found it a No Ball. Tomorrow will be the last day of the test match.
