Bad light affected the 2nd test match between West Indies and Sri Lanka. Only 37.2 over play possible on the first day of the 2nd test match. Sri Lanka adopted to bat first after winning the toss and it was hard decision to make for them as it was delay start and out field was also wet. Three early wickets shake Sri Lankan team but it was bad light in the end which caused the end of the day.
Till lunch there was no cricket in the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. After lunch 36 over bowled before tea but after tea there was only 1.2 over game played before bad light stopped play. KC Sangakkara was batting on 25 runs and TT Samaraweera was not out on 26 runs.
West Indies team for the 2nd test match consisted of CH Gayle, AB Barath, S Chanderpaul, DM Bravo, BP Nash, DJ Bravo, CS Baugh†, S Shillingford, SJ Benn, DJG Sammy and KAJ Roach.
After first test match draw both teams will definitely wants to win the match and gets lead in the test match series but it is weather conditions that are hurdling in the way of game. It is expected that there will be clear weather condition tomorrow and will be full over play tomorrow.
