Sri Lankan captain started the inning on day two of the 2nd test match against Wes Indies. He lead Sri Lankan inning from the front and scored a century for his team. TT Samaraweera scored 80 runs before he got out on the bowling of Bravo.
Sri Lanka scored 294 runs at the end of day two and lost 5 wickets. Rain interrupted play once again and it was early stoppage on day 2. Sri Lanka was going nicely before it started raining heavily and umpires called off the day’s play and the will resume tomorrow.
Latter on rain stopped but the pitch was cover and it is good news that there will be some play tomorrow. West Indies bowlers struggle a lot while bowling and Sangakkara and Samarawera scored 170 runs between them. Both batsmen took their team out of danger and put them in strong position.
KAJ Roach took three wickets while Sammy and Bravo got 1 wicket. WI bowlers will try to get some early wickets tomorrow to get some chance of return of the test match back as currently it looked a draw match. First match of the series was also a draw match and both teams looking for some result in the test match.
