IPL’s Kolkatta Knight Riders team captain and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is ready to play Ragni trophy in the domestic setup of India to prepare himself for IPL. He said that he wants to perform well in the 2011’s edition of IPL and he had played Rajni trophy last year to stay fit but this year he wants to be in good form.
Sourav Ganguly captaining the Kolkatta team in IPL whose owner is Bolly Wood star Shahrukh Khan. In the first IPL edition the team performed badly after start of fist match like a winner. His performance in IPL is also not good as he was not able to score runs in most of the games.
He has taken retirement from international cricket in 2008 since then he occasionally appears in domestic matches. He played for Bengal team. Based upon the position of Bengal’s team, he will decide how many matches he will play? 38 years old Sourav Ganguly made his debut in international cricket in 1996. He had 16 test match centuries along with 22 ODI centuries. He has best scored of 183 runs in ODI’s and totally scored 11363 in ODI’s. He had scored 7212 runs in test matches. Now he is looking to perform well in Indian Premier League.
