Pakistan’s wicket keeper batsman Kamran and all –rounder Shoaib Malik is not selected in the team for NZ’s tour. Pakistan has announced the team for the tour and the name of both player were not in the squad announce by the selectors. Mohsin Hasan Khan said that Kamran is not able to get clearance from the board and he refused to further comment on it.
The tour is starting from 23 December. Kamran and Malik both were out from Pakistan team since after England tour. There are some speculations that Kamran is under ICC’s investigations after spot fixing allegations. But in October Kamran got written clearance from ICC that he could play for Pakistan team.
Adnan Akmal and Umar Akmal are two other Akmal Brothers picked in Pakistan side. Selector Mohsin Khan said that the team announced will help in preparation of world cup. He admitted that NZ is hard to play against and Pakistan team will play the series with world cup in their minds.
Wahab Riaz inclusion is up to his fitness condition. Muhammad Yousaf is also left out from the team. Shoaib Malik was running through bad form and he was also not able to empress selectors.
