BCCI suspended Rajasthan Royals from IPL and also restricted it from inclusion in IPL’s2011 edition. The case between Rajasthan Royals and the BCCI was in arbitration and it is decided by arbitrators to give stay on suspension to RR team. The auction of teams will start from January 8th and now RR will be able to participate in auction.
Justice BN Srikrishna, the designated arbitrator said that will be given a chance to participate in the auction of IPL and they had found nothing to make them away from auction. BCCI is willing to contest the case to high court now.
The results of arbitration were accepted by RR team and they appreciated the work done by the arbitrator. The case was argued for three and half days before the arbitrator and the decision of arbitrator comes in favor of RR.
The case hearing was started on 24th November and the decision came on 30th November. The case of King XI Punjab is also expected to be decided in four working days. Both IPL teams were suspended by BCCI after they found some irregularities in share holding. Both teams appeals against the decision of BCCI and now the case is decided by arbitrator but BCCI decided to appeal in high court against the decision.
