Sri Lanka has announced ODI squad for the first two ODI’s against West Indies. Kumar Sangakkara remains the captain of the team. Sri Lanka will play 5 ODI’s against West Indies team with three matches at Colombo. The total series comprises of three test matches, 5 ODI and the only T-20 match schedule on 21st December.
The team announced for the first two ODI consists of Kumar Sangakkara , Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Angelo Mathews, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Kapugedera, Suraj Randiv, Ajantha Mendis, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara, Thisara Perera, Dilhara Fernando, Chamara Silva and Jeevan Mendis.
Sri Lanka and West Indies played three test matches and the test match series ended with 0-0. The decision of first two test matches was a draw. The third and final test match was also badly affected by rain and bad light. On the fifth day of the test match there is still no confirmation of start of the match. It is still raining and first inning of the test match is still to be completed. West Indies is playing first and scored 303 runs and lost 8 wickets and they still has two batsmen not out. First ODI will be played on 9th December, 2010.
