Bangladeshi all-rounder Mashrafe Mortaza reacted on the criticism made against him. He was not able to perform in the first two games against Zimbabwe and he is facing criticism for not picking up a wicket in either game.
He said that wickets are favoring spinners and we have our strength in shape of spinners and also Zimbabwe batsmen are not comfortable against spinners. He added that he was injured for long time and requiring time to come back in rhythm.
Motaza was not looking comfortable in first two games as he went for 53 runs in 9 over. He need some time to settle down and it is hoped that he will make international come back.
Ian Pont, the Bangladesh bowling coach also supported Motaza and said that he will be in form soon. He said that Motaza looked good while practicing and he need time to get back in rhythm. Motaza said that against big teams’ spinners’ feels difficulty but against Zimbabwe spinners are taking full advantage.
Bangladesh has leveled the series against Zimbabwe and now its stand 1-1. They lost first ODI against Zimbabwe by 9 runs. Teammates are also supporting him and declared him a claver cricketer. Third ODI will be played on 6th December.
