Bangladesh has announce the 30 men preliminary squad for world cup 2011. ICC has given 19th December deadline to all cricketing countries which are schedule to play world cup to announce their preliminary 30 men squad for the world cup.
Bangladesh squad for the world cup includes Shakib Al Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Ashraful, Imrul Kayes, Junaid Siddique, Roqibul Hassan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Nazmul Hossain, Naeem Islam, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Abdur Razzak, Suhrawadi Shuvo, Shahriar Nafees, Mohammad Nazimuddin, Shamsur Rahman, Jahirul Islam, Sahagir Hossain, Syed Rasel, Shahadat Hossain, Mahbubul Alam, Dolar Mahmud, Mithun Ali, Nasir Hossain, Shuvogoto Chowdhury, Shabbir Rahman, Alok Kapali and Enamul Haque.
Bangladesh is looking good with their World Cup preparations and their confidence level is high specially after winning two consecutive series. Bangladesh won series from New Zealand by 4-0 and then after that they won ODI series from Zimbabwe by 4-1.
Sri Lanka and Australia has also announced their ODI squad for world cup. Pakistan had asked for extension and ICC has awarded them extension up to 5th January 2011. Pakistan has some issues regarding the clearance of some of their players. PCB is consulting with ICC regarding the matter.
