Mashrafe Mortaza Doubted To Play World Cup

Bangladesh fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza has injured his knee while playing for his club Abahani in a Dhaka Premier Division League match. Bangladeshi coach Jamie Siddons said that the injury in really frustrating form him and for the team also as they were expecting a lot from him. He added that the injury might run him out from world cup.

The stage is set for the big event and teams are trying to save their players from injuries but Mashrafe Mortaza’s injury will surely dented the hopes of Bangladesh team. Complete tear of the reconstructed anterior cruciate ligament graft on his right knee was found from his knee injury. The injury is swear again just like the one he had in August 2009 against West Indies.

Knee injury is the main issue for him and he has gone with eight knee injuries in a space of eight years. He is having knee brace treatment and also physical therapy. Coach said that Bangladesh will definitely feel flaw in experience and captaincy but it’s all along with game. He added that Rubel (Hossain) or Nazmul (Hossain) will definitely work for Bangladesh as opening attack but the capabilities of Motaza will be missed by the team.
