Pakistan Won Last T20 Match Against Kiwis by 103 Runs

The series between Pakistan and New Zealand is finished with the victory of Pakistan in the last match. New Zealand has already won the series by winning the first two matches of the series. Pakistan won the last T20 match against kiwis by 103 runs on Tuesday played at AMI Stadium, Christchurch.

After winning the toss Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi decided to bat first in the day-night T20 match. Pakistan set New Zealand a challenging total of 184 for victory in the third Twenty20 in Christchurch. After six cautious defeats in the international matches the hungry players of Pakistan attacked on the kiwi side and got success in setting a big total of 183 on the scoreboard.

The opening partnership of Ahmed Shehzad and Muhammad Hafeez stopped on 81 runs. Both the openers participates their contribution by making 54, 34 respectively. Abdul Razzaq faced just 11 balls and in scored 34 runs to score this he took the support of 3 fours and 3 huge sixes. His strike rate was 309. Umer Akmal scored 30 runs. At the end the result scoreboard showing was, 183/6. Fast blower James Franklin was the most successful blower from his side who took 2 wickets for 12 runs.

In order to chase the Pakistan’s total, the Kiwi start was horrible. But Abdul Razzaq was mot in the mood to forgive black shirts in any field he rattled the top three batsmen and once they were five down for 11 runs only. Five players of the host side Jesse Ryder, Martin Guptill, Dean Brownlie, Ross Taylor, Tim Southee out on ducks. Scott Styris was the just the batsman, who entered in the double figures. He scored 45 runs and Kiwis were all out for 80 runs in the 15.5 over. This was the lowest total of Kiwi side in the T20 matches. The most successful blower from the guest side was the captain Shahid Afridi who took 4 wickets for 14 runs.

Regardless to this that Pakistan team has lost the T20 series but the victory with heavy margin will increase the morale of Pakistani team in the test and ODI series.
