Pakistan Cricket Board selection committee had a meeting today at the PCB head quarter at Lahore. After the completion of investigations and meeting of PCB investigating committee it was expected that selection committee will announce the name of 30 men squad today. The meeting of PCB selection committee ends with no result and chief selector Mohsin Hasan Khan said that the next meeting will be held at 4th January 2011.

ICC has granted the extension for announcement of 30 men WC squad up to 5th January. After the meeting Chief selector said that there was long discussion among the players and they reviewed the performances of different players. He added that there are still days left with PCB to announce team and they want to take decision after more consultation.

On Thursday Kamran Akmal , Shoaib Malik and Danish Kaneria meet PCB integrity committee and submitted the documents relating to their assets and bank accounts. Yasir Hameed also meet the members of integrity committee and he apologized from board and players about his acts and said that he was trapped and seeking apology from players who were hurt from his acts. Hameed was involved in a video in which he was discussing about Pakistan’s players involvement in match and spot fixing.
