BB McCullum has scored a century in three day match between New Zealand Cricket XI and Pakistan. The match is continuing at Cobham Oval. New Zealand Cricket XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Openers provided then 162 runs start and highlighted the weaknesses of Pakistan team. Pakistan team came back in the game in the later half of the inning when it was too late to control the match.
After scoring 384 runs New Zealand Cricket XI declared the inning. BB McCullum inning of 206 runs was the main and important thing in the inning. Sohail Tanvir who is back in Pakistan squad took four wickets. Umar Gull took three wickets. Wahab, Rahman and Ajmal took one wicket each.
Pakistani openers failed once again and Hafeez goy out on the third ball of the inning. Toufeeq Umer got out in the third over of the inning. 99 runs scored by Pakistan’s captain Misbah Ul Haq. He was looking in great touch. He alone resisted New Zealand Cricket XI’s bowlers and rest all went out after scoring few runs.
Tomorrow will be the last day of the match and it is expected that Misbah will complete his century tomorrow. CS Martin and DL Vetorri took three wickets each.
