Two matches test series between New Zealand and Pakistan will start from 7th of January and both teams are practicing for the preparation of test matches. In the three days practice match between Pakistan and New Zealand Cricket XI, B McCullum scored 206 runs and indicated his return to test cricket in a strong way. His inning was full of aggression. New Zealand Cricket XI managed to scored 384 runs in the first inning.
In reply Pakistan team opened the inning with fall of wickets and it was Pakistan’s captain Misbah Ul Haq who stands tall and scored 126 runs. He started the inning from over night score of 99 runs and managed to score 125 runs. He and last batsman Tanvir Ahmed added 25 runs for the last wicket. Pakistan team was all out for just 287 runs.
In the New Zealand Cricket XI second inning the bowling display from Pakistan side was a lot better. They took wickets in regular intervals and restricted New Zealand Cricket XI to 111 for the loss of four wickets at the end of play. The match resulted in a draw. Umer Gul took two wickets. Now Pakistan and New Zealand will face each other on 7th January, 2011.
