Pakistan’s captain Shahid Afridi and coach waqar Younis has been asked to appear in the final hearing of three suspended Pakistani players. The meeting will be held in Doha from 6th January to 11th January. Afridi said that he is ready to testify at ICC’s hearing as he is fully prepared for it. He added that he will tell them truth and he will not there to lie.
He added that he was asked by ICC about the player’s agent Mazher Majeed and his brother Azher and he told them what he knew about them. He said that he will not lie before ICC as they already have a lot of evidences in the case and he is not willing to trouble himself.
Three Pakistani players are provisionally suspended by ICC after they were found involve in spot fixing scandal. There were a lot of evidences found including a hidden camera video tape. All evidences went against Pakistani players. Pakistan coach Waqar Younis is also asked to attend the hearing and both Afridi and Younis already get PCB clearance to attend the meeting. PCB is schedule to announce 30 men World Cup Squad today. There is a lot of pressure on PCB. Three main player had suspension and two main players are not getting clearance from PCB integrity committee.
