Former Indian leg spinner and captain of RCB team in IPL have with drawn his name from the auction list of IPL. He said that due to some private reasons he has to pull his name out of this. He is running a business so he had to decide about his future planning. Kumble chose what he thinks best for him.
Anil said that the decision was tough for him but he has to take the decision because in life there is a time when you have to choose a path for you. He added that he has to take care of his company so it is not possible for him to continue with IPL.
S$400,000 was the reserve price set for him but he decided to quit form the competition. Anil said that to continue with other things is not possible for you when u playing. So he has decided to focus on other matter and left IPL but will remain a part of the RCB’s senior leadership team over the next three years.
His international career was ended on 2008 and in 2010 he become president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association. He has earn a nick name of Jumbo and other players including COO of IPL said that he will be miss in the tournament.
