Shoaib Malik, Kamran Akmal and Danish Kaneria were looking to get their place in World cup Squad but they were not getting clearance from PCB Integrity Committee. On 4th January 2011 world cup 30 men squad has been announced by PCB and wicket keeper batsman Kamran Akmal successfully got selected in the team.

Former Captain and all rounder Shoaib Malik once again not able to cleared himself and he was not selected in the 30 men squad. The reason for his non selection is that he was not getting clearance from PCB integrity committee.

Shoaib Malik is very disappointed for not getting select in the squad. He was asked to provide the details to money in his foreign bank accounts by the integrity committee. Malik was not able to convince them till the last date and resultantly out of World Cup Squad.

Fawad Alam who was along with Pakistan team has also been dropped along with Imran Farhat. Both players were along with Pakistan team in recent tours. Three suspended player’s unavailability is a great shock for Pakistan’s cricket as all of them were automatic choice for Pakistan. PCB has ICC to extend the date of announcement of 30 men squad. Again bad time for Malik and he will miss another World Cup.
