The dream of playing world cup 2011 for Bangladesh team is over for fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza. He has an injury in December and that cost him world cup 2011. He was playing for club and was injured while playing. He injured his right knee and was taken out of ground.

Chief selector Rafiqul Alam said that there is few chance of his inclusion in team as he will not fit before world cup. He added that Motaza will bake in the game after his fitness.

15 men world cup squad has been announce by Bangladesh and the squad includes Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Junaid Siddique, Shahriar Nafees, Raqibul Hasan, Mohammad Ashraful, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Islam, Mahmudullah, Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam, Nazmul Hossain and Suhrawadi Shuvo.

Motaza was captain of Bangladesh team but after his injury he was removed form captaincy and he returned in the home series. In December he was playing domestic cricket with a club and was injured again.

Siddons said that Bangladesh want Mortaza to be fit and he also said that if he will be fit before world cup then he will be replaced in the team. He is very optimistic about his inclusion in the team.
