Martin Guptill will open the inning for New Zealand in the remaining ODI matches between Pakistan and New Zealand. He was out from the team during the Bangladesh tour as he was running bad form. He is now back in the team. In 2010 he scored 189 runs against Bangladesh.
Martin Guptill said that he was very upset when he was dropped from the team. He said that when you are out of team then it looked that every thing is going against you and it would be difficult for you to control the situation.
He said that he done work on his mistakes and tried to make them right and succeeded in making little things right. He added that he was successful in waiting the ball in the training secession before the first test match and he is fully confident that it will be good for him for couple of years.
Martin Guptill added that he is sure that he can bat at any position as he is feeling well. He added that as an opener he can also perform well. He also expressed that he will feel happy while batting with Jesse. He also said that good weather would help them in practicing for the world cup.
