In the last and sixth ODI New Zealand team defeated Pakistan team by 57 runs and ended the series with a win. New Zealand scored 311 runs by batting first. JD Ryder scored a decent century. He scored 107 runs in 93 balls with seven fours and six sixes. It was great batting display from lower middle order of New Zealand and they contributed in scoring of their team.

Styris ended the inning well he scored 58 runs and remains not out. NL McCullum scored 65 runs in 50 balls. They both scored 120 runs together and took teams total to 311 runs. Pakistan got 312 runs total target to win series by 4-1. Abdul Razzak and Muhammad Hafeez got 2 wickets each.

The start of chase from Pakistan was not good and they lost an early wicket of Ahmed Shahzad. Hafeez also got out early. Kamran Akmal came to form and he scored 89 runs by batting at number 3 position. The middle order failed once again and big gun Younis Khan got out at 16 runs. Shahid Afridi played well and scored 44 runs in 32 balls. Pakistan team was all out in 45th over. They lost the match by 57 runs.
