Three match series between Sri Lanka and West Indies have been won by the Sri Lankan team. They won the series by defeating West Indies in the 2nd ODI by 26 runs. Sri Lanka batted first and scored 277 runs. Tharanga scored 39 runs while Tm Dishan scored 30 runs in the opening stand. KC Sangakkara scored 75 runs and remained the top scorer for the team.

Jayawardene scored 44 runs. Both middle order batsmen scored runs fro Sri Lanka. The lower middle batting order collapsed once again and they managed to reach 277 runs total. St Benn took 4 wickets for West Indies.

The opening from West Indies side was also not good and their both openers went out without scoring runs. Gayle continues his bad form. DM Bravo scored 79 runs and he was the top scorer in the West Indies inning. West Indies run chase was not successful and they were not able to complete the chase.

They were all out for just 251 runs. The batsmen got start but they were not able to score runs to get victory for the team. In the end it was 251 runs win for the Sri Lankan team. They won the series 2-0.
