Pakistani captain Shahid Khan Afridi has contracted Hampshire team for county and now he will play for them in the next county season. He will be in their team during the Friends Provident t20 campaign. Afridi said that he was looking to join the team as he thinks Hampshire is one of the best team for the county.

He said that he is looking to do well for the team during the county season in 2011. Pakistani players are not included in the IPL so they left to play for county and now they will appear in county when free from international cricket for Pakistan.

Afridi said that he is looking to play his part for the team and he will produce results for them. He is currently in Sri Lanka for world cup 2011. The mega event is on and every captain in the world cup is looking to lift it.

Shahid Afridi also looking to lift the world cup and he is boasting the players and want them to play well in their matches. Pakistan will play heir fist match on 23rd February. They will play against Sri Lanka on 26th February. Pakistan chances to reach knock out stage is very bright.
