Shaid Afridi may face a ban for five years

The Senate Standing Committee (SSC) has recommended to impose a ban of five years on Shaid Afridi for ball tempering.
The Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Ijaz Butt has informed Standing Committee for Sports that action would be taken against Shaid Afridi taken into account the recommendations made in the inquiry report of the Australian Series.

Former star batsman, Javed Miandad has said that he has not accused Ijaz Butt instead he just replied to allegations which were imposed on him. A four member regional committee has also been constituted to review the matters of PCB.
